Kim Si-on made his professional debut in the KDB Life Insurance uniform, the predecessor of Busan BNK, as the second choice in the first round at the 2014 WKBL New Player Selection.
Ahead of the 2023-2024 season, he changed into a Hana One Q uniform through a trade with the right to select new players (the 2023-2024 first round, 2025-2026 first round), playing an average of 26 minutes and 42 seconds, scoring 5.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.5 assists. Kim Si-on said, "I only spent one season in the team, but the atmosphere was good, so I adapted well without any difficulties, and I am grateful that the club and the coach recognized my value," adding, "I will contribute to the team's progress to a higher place." Hana OneQ announced a three-year contract renewal with main center Yang In-young the day before, and also signed Kim Si-on to catch two internal FA. |
