Jemulpo High School defeated Samil High School 75-73 in the final round of the men's high school qualifying round for the 49th National Men's and Women's Basketball Championships held at the National Sports Center in Yeonggwang, Jeollanam-do on the 29th. In fact, Jemulpo High School, which won the second place match by two points, confirmed its advance to the finals.

In Group A, Hongik University has already confirmed the top spot in the group with three consecutive wins, and Jemulpo High School and Samil High School are competing for the remaining finals tickets. The game was fierce and the atmosphere was high. Samil High School took a 10-point lead in the beginning of the game, but Jemulpo High School followed shortly after, resulting in a close race.

Jemulpo High School lost by eight points with 2:25 left. However, Lee Seong-ho and Yoo Dong-gun (182 centimeters, G) immediately tied the score at three points. The game quickly turned into a chaos. The momentum of the final declaration of sacrifice was fierce.

Han Joo-hyuk, who was interviewed after the game, said, "First of all, I'm happy that our team made it to the final," briefly expressing his thoughts on winning. Jemulpo High School has four third graders: Han Joo-hyuk, Kim Do-min (175 cm, G), Kim Si-on (180 cm, G), and Lee Seong-ho (190 cm, F, C). Kim coordinates the game, and Kim Si-on leads the attack. Lee Seong-ho protects the backline. Here, Han Joo-hyuk plays the role of shooter.
