From fall baseball this year!

There comes a moment when everyone faces the 'turning point' of their lives. To take that moment as an opportunity, you have to make constant efforts in your field. Various experiences, as well as changes of thoughts, are needed.

Recently, there is a player who has been upgraded to the next level through valuable experience that money cannot buy. He is the protagonist of Samsung.

For the first time in history, a Major League Baseball (MLB) team had a valuable experience in the Seoul Series where they visited Korea. Won Tae-in took the mound as the second pitcher of the national team in a warm-up match against San Diego in the Seoul Series held at Gocheok Dome on the 17th. Following Moon Dong-ju, he took the mound from the third inning and played an active role with three hits, one walk and three strikeouts in two innings.

An income greater than a scoreless run is that the ball power worked. He checked with San Diego batters how far his ball power, which he had been curious about, could work. This is the moment that I remember as the turning point of my baseball life.

I was always interested in Japanese professional baseball. I was not sure if my ball power would work in the MLB. Until last seven days, I was reluctant to say that I would advance to the U.S. However, after going through the Seoul Series, I became greedy for the MLB stage.

Won Tae-in met with reporters after KBO Media Day and said, "I felt like I wanted to challenge MLB as well as Japanese professional baseball. I changed my mind a lot after seeing (Kim) Ha-sung play on such a stage in person, the treatment of the players, the environment in which they play."

"Before, I didn't want to challenge myself to something that I felt would fail. But I changed my mind when I threw against the big leaguer this time," Won said. "Honestly, I would not have been able to hit because it was my first time dealing with myself. However, as soon as I realized that my most confident weapon was working, I wanted to challenge myself to advance to the MLB whether it would be next year or the year after that."

Won Tae-in tried to get information about his shortcomings from the major leaguers he faced in person. He also talked with Tyler Glasnow of the Los Angeles Dodgers about the curve. Classnow's main weapon is the curve.

"They are amazing players, so I approached them first and asked them a lot of questions. Based on that, I was able to pitch well," Won said with a smile. "I think I have taken a step further on my own after facing the players in the Seoul Series."

"I dream of flying. I will never stop evolving." However, Won's goal this year is to win the team title. His dream is to play baseball in fall with his fans.

"Playing overseas is still on the back burner. My team is Samsung. My first goal is to win the title as a member of Samsung," Won said. "As a full-time starting pitcher, I need to give him at least 10 wins. My biggest goal is to be on the fall baseball stage that I haven't played for a while. I have confidence that I will perform well this season."
