Portugal, Sweden score 5 goals without Ronaldo.

Portugal was strong without Cristiano Ronaldo (Al-Nasr).

Portugal beat Sweden 5 to 2 at an exhibition match held at Estadio Diaphonso Enrique in Guimarães, Portugal on Tuesday. Portugal will play its second exhibition match against Slovenia on March 26.

Portugal coach Roberto Martinez did not call Ronaldo in a friendly match with Sweden. The move was aimed at giving consideration to Ronaldo, who is spending vacation with his family in Saudi Arabia.

Ronaldo will join the game against Slovenia.

Portugal scored five goals without Ronaldo. Starting with Rafael Leão (AC Milan) in the 24th minute of the first half, Matheus Nunes (Manchester City) in the 33rd minute of the first half, Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United) in the 45th minute of the first half, and Bruma (Bragha) in the 12th minute of the second half.

He lost a point in the 13th minute of the second half, but Gonzalo Hamus of Paris Saint-Germain scored again in the 16th minute of the second half. He conceded one more goal in the 45th minute of the second half, and won the game 5-2.

It is the first time that Sweden has allowed five runs since the 3-5 defeat against Germany in October 2013.

Martinez said, "It was a good and important test for us. Sweden has great strikers. We studied the defense and conducted good tests," adding, "In the match against Slovenia, eight players will rest including Bernardu Silva, Juvenile Diaz (Manchester City), Fernandes and Hamus."
