Ji So-yeon 33, Seattle Lane still showed her world class skills in the first professional game of the women's strongest country.

Seattle Lane defeated the Washington Spirit 1-0 at home in the opening game of the 2024 NWSL. Ji contributed to the victory by playing 89 minutes as a central midfielder.

The U.S. boasts four wins in the FIFA Women's World Cup. "Ji So-yeon did an amazing job," sports channel ESPN said after ranking second against Seattle Lane in the NWSL first round power ranking.
