Coach Eun Hee-seok (46), who failed to escape from the bottom of the KBL Seoul Samsung Thunder this season, eventually stepped down after failing to fill two seasons. A graduate of Kyungbok High School and Yonsei University, Eun played for Anyang KGC, served as the coach of NCAA SMU University and Anyang KGC, and served as Yonsei University's coach from 2014, displaying outstanding leadership in the college league for eight years. Therefore, Samsung chose Eun as its new head coach in April last year. He coached at Vanguard University, his alma mater, and served as a coach at Grand Raffies Drive in the G League. Since 2021, he has been a coach for Samsung in Seoul. Kim will lead Samsung in Seoul from the match against Korea Gas Corporation in Daegu on the 23rd.
