Choi Soon-ho, head of his team's K-League 1 Suwon FC, expressed discomfort over Lee Seung-woo, who is rumored to have transferred to Seoul E-Land FC in the K-League 2.

Choi Soon-ho, the general manager, met with reporters at the pre-tour of "K League: The Universe," an exhibition commemorating the 40th anniversary of the K League held at Yeongdeungpo Art Square on the second basement floor of Times Square in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul, on the 21st, and criticized, "(Lee Seung-woo's transfer to E-Land) is an improper act."

According to the soccer community, E-Land is working behind-the-scenes to recruit Lee Seung-woo, one of the best stars of the K-League. E-Land, which has taken the helm of Suwon FC until the 2023 season, is known to have offered billions of won (approximately 8 million U.S. dollars) to recruit Lee Seung-woo.

In response, Choi Soon-ho strongly criticized the team, saying, "There should be some level of communication between the teams (not at all). It's not like we're playing soccer, and it should never happen in the soccer world."

"It's a matter of manners. It can be a problem for both the player and the leader," he said. "It's not polite to talk about ransom when I didn't talk to the other team."
