Gambling hotspots Macau

Macau's gambling hub this year than in the same period last year. This has also brought greater returns to gambling operators, which will be evident in the next Total Game Earnings Report.

It's no secret to anyone that mainland Chinese people like to go to special administrative districts that offer them a variety of entertainment and gambling places to choose from. This year was no exception, and thousands of tourists arrived at the gambling house on to make the most of the festival. According to the authorities overseeing the Macau region, the number of people who chose the destination surged by 10 percent during the Lunar New Year.

The amount is compared to the number of tourists who chose the venue as a festival venue last year. This year, China's Lunar New Year was held on Feb. 16, which gave visitors time to make the most of the long weekend they had. A total of 500,404 people provided casino operators in the area with a busy weekend. In this number, about 70.8% of tourists will come directly from China to check the main prognosis of these travelers.

Forecasts and impacts on the industry
While the number of mainland Chinese tourists in 2017 increased 18.5% this Lunar New Year compared to 2017, it is safe to say that the year began with potential profits and high interest toward the world's largest gambling hub, more tourists from VIP players participating in gambling activities in the region may not have a significant impact on gambling profits.

According to a forecast released last week by MGTO Director Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes, the expected growth of Macau visitors reached 3% compared to the total number of tourists during last year's festival. She also predicted that most people would come from mainland Taiwan and Hong Kong. In the weeks leading up to the festival, there were preparations for the latest gambling resort called MG COTai.
