Lee Sang-min, Kim Sun-hyung, Yoo Yoo Yoo-sang... 20 blocks + Pil

He is the only domestic guard after Lee Sang-min and Kim Sun-hyung to record more than 20 blocks in a season.

Yoo Sang-eun, who was ranked third in last year's KBL rookie draft and wore Changwon LG uniform, showed off her blocking ability even though she was a shooter since college.

Lee Yu-sang averaged 2.2 blocks in five games in the third round of the 2021 College Basketball League (held as a single tournament due to COVID-19), and 1.3 blocks in the 2023 College Basketball League.

Despite being 188 cm tall, Yoo often blocks his opponent's shots thanks to his 197 cm long wingspan. This blocking ability is also displayed on his professional stage.

Yoo has the fifth largest number of blocks among Korean players this season, following Kim Jong-kyu, Choi Jun-yong, Jonghyun Lee, and Lee Won-seok. All of the players with more blocks than Yoo are more than 2 meters tall.

Yoo Yu-sang's position is as a guard.

So which guard in Korea recorded more than 20 blocks in a season? If you look at KBL's existing record program, there are only Kim Sun-hyung and Lee Sang-min. Kim Sun-hyung scored 28 goals in the 2011-2012 season and 21 goals in the 2022-2023 season, while Lee scored 28 goals in the 1997-1998 season and 20 goals in the 1998-1999 season.
