Frenkie The Dragon has strongly denied recent transfer rumors surrounding him.

Frenkie de Jong, midfielder of F.C. Barcelona in La Liga, Spain, replied to rumors of a transfer. He attended a press conference ahead of the UEFA Champions League (UCL) match in China. He recently posted rumors of a transfer to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and criticized the media, saying, "I don't know why you're not shy."

He is known to receive the highest salary in his team at the moment. Some analysts say that selling him would be financially helpful for Barcelona, which is struggling with financial difficulties. However, The Dragon said, "The media always talks about my salary. What's reported is far from the reality. I am happy in Barcelona. This is a club that I have dreamed of. I hope to play for Barcelona for many years."

The dragon left Ajax in the 2019-20 season to join Barcelona and has been playing in Spain for five seasons. Barcelona has invested a whopping 86 million euros (about 124 billion won) to recruit The dragon.

Although he joined the Barcelona team in his early 20s, he has become a starting member early on.
