Quality slots and table games provider Habanero's latest release is a fantasy-inspired duelling game called Dragon's Throne.

The cross-platform 5x3, 50-fixed-line video slot, which has medium volatility, requires players to command one of four dragons to victory in a battle of wills against the tyrannous Queen of Dragons.

Its feature round, complete with a unique triggering mechanic, includes a series of encounters in which wins and losses affect the strength of the player's dragon.

Progression through four rounds featuring an increasing number of free spins brings players closer to ultimate victory and huge rewards.

Nic Ioannoy, CEO at Habanero, believes the game will be a hit among casino customers who grew up playing fantasy-themed console games.

"We're very confident that Dragon's Throne will appeal to the next generation of slots players and that its great graphics and sounds will provide them with a familiar, immersive experience," Ioannoy said. "The maths model and unique feature trigger are designed to entertain as well as provide the opportunity to win significant winnings and we expect it to be very popular."

Dragon's Throne, which Habanero will be demonstrating on stand N2-243 at next month's ICE Totally Gaming exhibition, follows Bombs Away and Gold Rush among recent releases by the company, whose portfolio now boasts 60 slots, six table games, and 10 video poker titles.

These are integrated directly into over 20 operators and provisioned in 15 languages, including eight European and six Asian ones. They are also now available to operators via distribution deals with platform providers EveryMatrix and Mediatech.
