Bridges' goal is to retire from Charlotte.

Miles Bridges of the Charlotte Hornets had an interview with "AllHornets.com " on the 15th (Korea time). Bridges talked about the rest of his career here.

Bridges entered the NBA with the 12th overall pick in the 2018 NBA Rookie Draft. His potential was in full bloom during the 2021-2022 season. Bridges emerged as Charlotte's ace that season, averaging 20.2 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 3.8 assists.

However, Bridges had to leave the NBA for a while due to domestic violence issues. Afterwards, he returned to the court accepting Charlotte's qualifying offer. Bridges continued to boast of his destructive power.

Bridges has been active this season with an average of 21.5 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 3.4 assists. As a result, other teams' interest in Bridges has begun to increase.

Charlotte was able to benefit from the Bridges trade because it was cheap. However, Charlotte did not consider the Bridges trade.

Bridges said, "I've never experienced anything like this before. The front office told me I had no intention of trading myself. I was relieved."

That leaves Bridges with the rest of the season at Charlotte. But Bridges is looking further into the future. He wants to retire from Charlotte.

"I'm delighted to be here at Charlotte. I hope we can stay here for the rest of our career. We've had constructive conversations in this regard. I think I'll be here in the future. But we need to see how it goes for the business side," Bridges said.

Meanwhile, Charlotte sought change by recruiting a number of players, including Grant Williams and Seth Curry, in the last trade market. Thanks to this, Charlotte has been on a winning streak and is ready to become the dark horse of the Eastern Conference.

Bridges said, "The new players are from a team that has a winning culture. They're learning a culture that's related to it. They've been in the playoffs. Especially from Grant Williams, I'm learning every day."

"In the trade process, our team showed consistency. It's a necessary element to get to the next level. I've never been to the playoffs. But our team wants to make it to the playoffs. We just need to be consistent," he added.
