Technical support issues
Marjon Beauchamp, 22, bombed the pro-Am league.
Beauchamp participated in the Crowover Pro-Am tournament hosted by former NBA player Jamal Crawford on the 30th.
Among the players who played on the day, LeBron James LA Lakers, Paolo Banquero Olando Magic and Jack Lavigne Chicago Bulls were notable. However, Beauchamp succeeded in making the spotlight his own with his amazing performance.
Beauchamp scored 83 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists, 71.1% 32/45 of field pitching success rate, 47% 8/17 of three points, and 84.6% 11/13 of free pitching success rate. His 83 points are the highest scoring record in the Crowover Pro-Am League, breaking the 81 points recorded by Isaiah Thomas. It would be meaningful to set these records at events regularly attended and dominated by top NBA players.
Meanwhile, Beauchamp played well in the first two games in the Summer League this year, but he was sluggish in Las Vegas with an average of 42.2 points and a three-point success rate of 26.3%. The problem was that he was inconsistent in the attack.
In addition, it was worrisome enough from the perspective of the Milwaukee Bucks that a player who had consistently received a chance to play in the league 52 games as a rookie did not play in the Summer League.
Ranked 24th in the first round in 2022, he played 13.5 minutes per game last season, recording a field-to-field success rate 39.5% and a three-point success rate 33.1%. Therefore, the efficiency of fieldwork should be increased, and as it is a wing position, remarkable growth in defense is needed.
Fortunately, Beauchamp, who exploded his scoring ability in the Crowover League, now has to compete with the likes of Grace Allen, Pat Connaughton, Wesley Matthews and Malik Beasley.
Entering his second year, Beauchamp will go to great lengths to survive in Milwaukee. The performance of Milwaukee's Beauchamp and rookie players, who aim to win the championship, is a must-do task to have a smooth regular season.
