KIA sought 10 consecutive wins for the first time in about 14 years since August 2019, but Choi Won-joon was blocked by five scoreless innings and finished his winning streak with nine consecutive wins.


On the mound before the match between Doosan and Kia, SBS drama "Escape of the Seven" producer Joo Dong-min was scheduled to throw the first pitch, and actor Cho Jae-yoon was scheduled to hit the first pitch.  Lee Deok-hwa, Eom Ki-joon, Hwang Jung-eum, Yoon Jong-hoon, Cho Yoon-hee, and Yoon Tae-young, who appear together in the drama, also attended to cheer for the first pitch and the first hit.

It was actress Yoon Tae-young. Yoon Tae-young has been close to Lee Seung-yeop since he was a player. For that reason, in 2009, Yoon Tae-young was helped by Lee Seung-yeop when he starred in the baseball drama "The Foreign Team."


Yoon Tae-young said, "I was close to Lee Seung-yeop at the time, so I asked him to send me baseball equipment," adding, "But when I asked him whether he was right or left, he asked me to use both hands, and he told me to be good at one." And he said, "I received advice as a professional baseball player such as poses and skills when pitching and at-bat."


Coach Lee Seung-yeop and Yoon Tae-young, who met with welcome looks, had a good time talking about each other's safety and recent situation, and gave high fives with a message of wishing for victory. Coach Lee Seung-yeop, who was cheered by an unexpected acquaintance, smiled on his face. 


In the game, Doosan scored a victory by scoring with Yang Seok-hwan's solo home run in the bottom of the second inning, Jung Soo-bin's grounder RBI in the bottom of the fourth inning, and Kim Tae-in's timely hit in the seventh inning. 


In particular, Cho Soo-haeng, who started as a right fielder, contributed to scoring by shaking the opponent's defense with a surprise bunt hit in the bottom of the fourth and seventh innings along with intensive defense in the top of the fourth and fifth innings.
