Samsung will hold a practice match against the Chunichi Dragons at Akama Ball Park in Okinawa, Japan on Wednesday. It is the first actual inspection of the Okinawa spring camp.

Hwang Dong-jae, who received Samsung's first nomination in 2020 after graduating from Kyungpook National High School, is one of the fifth starters this season.

Based on his excellent physique standing 191 centimeters tall and weighing 97 kilograms, he played in 24 games until last year and posted one win and eight losses with an earned run average of 7.70. Meanwhile, Samsung will play against Nippon Ham on June 11, Chiba Lotte on June 14, Nippon Ham on June 17, Yomiuri on June 18, Hanshin on June 20, and Nippon Ham on March 23. It will play practice matches with Korean teams including Hanwha on June 26, Lotte on March 27, and KIA on March 1.
