Son Heung-min and Seol Young-woo selected 'Best Eleven'

A strong performance against Australia on the 3rd

South Korean national soccer team striker Son Heung-min (Tottenham) and side defender Seol Young-woo (Ulsan HD) led by head coach Jurgen Klinsmann were selected as the best Eleven in the quarterfinals of the 2023 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Asian Cup.

AFC set up and announced a 3-4-3 Best Eleven with 11 players who showed off their deep presence in the quarterfinals of the Asian Cup through social networking services (SNS) on the 4th .

In the Cleansman Lake, "captain" Son Heung-min and "multiplayer" Seol Young-woo were named.

Son Heung-min scored the winning goal with an accurate free kick in the 14th minute of extra time in the quarterfinals of the Asian Cup (2-1 win) against Australia on the 3rd.

Earlier in the 51st minute of the second half, Hwang Hee-chan (Wolverhampton)'s penalty equalizer was also induced by Son Heung-min.

Klinsmann will play the Asian Cup semi-final against Jordan at Ahmed bin Ali Stadium in Alayyan, Qatar, at midnight on the 7th.

The two teams faced Jordan in the second Group E match on the 20th of last month, drawing only 2-2.
