Rumors of a transfer continuing for 3 years Another mixed outlook
Le Parisien makes Mbappe transfer a fait accompli
Independent "Hard negotiations over annual salary"
Rumors of Kylian Mbappe Paris Saint-Germain transfer to Real Madrid Spain's La Liga are once again heating up the soccer world. Locally, there are mixed analyses that Mbappe's "transfer story," which began in 2021, has reached its end point and speculations that the transfer will be difficult again this time.
Rumors of Mbappe's transfer started with French media Le Parisien. "Mbappe has chosen Real Madrid. He is leaving PSG after the end of this season," the media reported on Thursday. "Although he has not signed yet, everyone thinks Mbappe has made a choice to transfer to Real Madrid."
Some media outlets have mentioned specific conditions. The Daily Mail, a British media outlet, said, "Real Madrid has no intention of breaking down the weekly wage system. Mbappe will have to pay much less than the 880,000-pound salary he currently receives." Mbappe added that he will receive 85.5 million pounds in down payment bonus instead of receiving half of the current salary.
However, there have been reports that Mbappe and Real Madrid have reached a deadlock in their negotiations. Miguel Delaney, a British media outlet for The Independent, said that the terms and conditions proposed by Real Madrid did not satisfy Mbappe's side. Mbappe's indecision in the past is another reason why he has been confused. Mbappe mentioned to local media that he wanted to go to Real Madrid after his transfer to Real Madrid was canceled in 2021 due to the club's opposition, but he stayed with PSG by signing a 2+1 year contract in May the following year. However, he suddenly announced that he would not renew his contract with PSG last year, expressing his intention to leave the team as a de facto free agent.
"Real Madrid is showing confidence in signing Mbappe," Fabrizio Romano, a transfer market expert, said on social media. "However, nothing has been decided yet. PSG Chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi and the club have not received any official communication. The decision will depend on Mbappe's choice whether he will actually transfer or not." While mentioning the possibility of Mbappe's transfer, he is taking a cautious stance.
