Resorts World Catskills New York, the newest and closest integrated casino resort in Manhattan, New York, today unveiled a new 7,000-square-foot poker room. Conveniently located on the main casino floor opposite the Good Friends Market, the new room has now opened.

The Resort World Catskills' poker room is the largest of any commercial casinos in New York State. The 24-hour location includes 20 tables and 180 seats, and offers players a variety of amenities, including a cabin checkout, free beverage service, USB charging ports in all seats, a convenient outdoor smoking deck, and 27 55-inch TVs. The games on offer include Texas Holdum (limited and unlimited), Omaha (high and pot-limit), and a 7-card stud (seven-card stud). The Resort World Catskills' poker room also offers bad beat jackpots for four to five people, including one that recently won a prize for $187,000 in a new room. So far, the Resort World Catskills' poker room has only been $1 million on the Bad Beat jackpot.

With over 100,000 square feet of Las Vegas-style gaming, the Resort World Catskills Casino Resort offers the most extensive luxury gaming experience in the Catskills region. In addition to the poker room, the casino resort offers players the best of resort gaming with 1,600 slot machines, over 150 live table games, high-limit gaming areas, and a private gaming salon.

The poker room is currently open for players. The official ribbon cutting will take place on Aug. 20 to kick off the first massive tournament, the Mega Stack Poker Tournament, which will be held at the new venue from Aug. 20-25. Additional information about the tournament will be available online in the coming weeks. Immediately after the tournament, the casino resort will host a series of high-hand poker promotions from Aug. 26-30, with Poker Room awarding a total of $20,000 as the top prize at the Texas Holdam Games.
