Foxwoods Resort Casino, the world's largest casino, opened its Wampum Rewards Mega Store this weekend, heralding a recovery of its new and exciting retail experience at Foxwood. As part of Foxwood's overall rainmaker expansion, the 3,700-square-foot store becomes Foxwood's largest retail store and takes its player incentive program to new heights. The new store also has well-respected brand names such as Sony, Panasonic, Lennox, Nikon, Vespa, T-Fal, Dell, Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Craft, and John Dere. It also gives customers the ability to purchase gift cards from major retailers such as Lowes, Raymour & Flanagan, Mobil/Exxon, and Citgo.

Regis Philbin and Susan Lucy were on hand to officially open the store. The giveaway included two songs from Regis' newly released CD, "When You're Smiling," and Susan's perfume, plus a special Foxwood giveaway. Regis and Susan starred in a sold-out performance at Foxwood's famous Fox Theater on Saturday evening.

The Wampum Rewards Mega Store is part of the new Foxwoods, where Wampum Rewards card members can use their Wampum Rewards points or cash to shop at stores, or purchase branded items at new stores such as Senses, Storytellers, Fossil, Movado, Tag Heuer, Yankee Candle, Dooney & Bourke, Crabtree & Evelyn, Maxx NY, and more.

With the new Wampum Rewards incentive program, players can create shopping lists online, easily select items from home or store, and visit the store's website to choose from a wide range of products. This improves the overall Wampum Rewards program, which allows points to be used for dining, accommodation, spa services, and retail throughout the property.

Ready to impress guests from the moment they drive into the resort, Foxwood's visitors enter a new, seven-story, 2,100-space parking lot with direct access to the new Rainmaker Casino. Customers are just minutes away from 750 new slot machines, and in total, they own more than 7,400 slot machines. Customers will walk next to a glass-encrusted box of the famous hard rock memorabilia lined with stone pillars, walk by the glass-encrusted conkos, and continue Foxwood's tradition of bringing a vibrant outdoor atmosphere to the facility.

In addition, the new Foxwoods expansion features powerful new foods and drinks, including Carnegie Deli and Nathan's. Meanwhile, Foxwoods' much-anticipated golf course, the 36-hole Lake of Ireland Elite Golf Course, will open next year. Designed by renowned architect Reece Jones, the breathtaking 50,000-square-foot clubhouse with the championship course will be ready to open next spring. This substantial investment will further solidify Foxwood's status as a preeminent casino in the Northeast and strengthen it's position as a resort destination and comprehensive experience.
