Rodrigo Bentancur of Tottenham Hotspur has been included in the team of immigrants in the 21st round of the English Premier League EPL.

The EPL secretariat announced the "Moving Team" in the 21st round through its official channel on Sunday. The list was selected by Alan Shearer, who has the most goals scored with 260 goals in the EPL.

Shearers selected a total of 11 players. The strikers were Diogo Jota Liverpool, Ivan Toney Brentford, Rasmus Huairun Manchester United, and Darwin Núñez Liverpool. The midfielders were Cole Palmer Chelsea, Rodrigo Bentancur Tottenham Hotspur, and Kevin the Bruyne Manchester City.

The Defenders were Nelsong Semedu Wolverhampton Wanderers, Ibrahima Conate Liverpool and Gabriel Magalyangis Arnal. The Goalkeeper was Emiliano Martinez Aston Villa.

Bentancur's name stood out. Bentancur scored the golden equalizer in the match against Manchester United on Saturday. Timo Werner passed the ball to the penalty box at the 1st minute of the second half when his team was losing 1-2, and finished the game with a powerful left-footed shot. Tottenham earned one valuable point away from Manchester United.

Bentancur had an eventful year in 2023. He suffered a ruptured cruciate ligament in a match against Leicester City in February last year. Due to this, he only returned to the ground in October. He made an emotional comeback, but Bentancur ruptured ankle ligaments due to a tackle by opposing defender Matty Cash against Aston Villa in November last year.

Although he suffered two major injuries, Bentancur did not collapse. He surprised everyone by making a quick comeback against Bournemouth on the 31st. The original expected return was in February. In the match against Manchester United, he impressed Tottenham fans by scoring a goal in 11 months.
