Seoul SK, which had been doing well, is once again shaking greatly.

SK's Ahn Young-joon injured his right knee in the fourth round home game of 2023-24 Jeonggwanjang Professional Basketball against Ulsan Hyundai Mobis at Jamsil Student Gymnasium on the 18th.

Ahn Young-joon injured his right knee midway through the second quarter of the match against Hyundai Mobis when he collided with Jang Jae-seok, who collapsed under the basket. He later complained of pain.

After thorough examination on Wednesday, Ahn was diagnosed with a ruptured ligament in his right knee. He is expected to return to the team in early March.

SK is currently in the upper ranks. However, with Kim Sun-hyung and Heo Il-young injured, there is a big gap in the team's capacity. On top of that, Ahn Young-joon, who had been balancing offense and defense, has also left the team, facing a major crisis.

Heo Il-young is aiming to return on Feb. 3. He will check the pace of his rehabilitation this week, and next week to determine the exact timing of his return.

However, Kim Sun-hyung's return is too late. According to an SK official, "Kim Sun-hyung can return to the team in early March with Ahn Young-joon at the earliest."
