The Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association (NBA) beat the Milwaukee Bucks by four points, where Yanis Antetokounmpo exploded 48 points.

Houston beat Milwaukee 112-108 in the NBA's 2023-24 regular season home game at Toyota Center in Houston, Texas on the 7th.

Houston maintained its eighth place in the Western Conference with 18 wins and 16 losses. Milwaukee, which is ranking second in the Eastern Conference, now has 25 wins and 11 losses.

In Houston, Alperen Sengun scored 21 points and 11 rebounds, and Jabari Smith Jr. scored a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds to win.

In Milwaukee, Antetokounmpo played a "one-man show" with 48 points and 17 rebounds, but it fell behind Houston's backside.

Houston gained momentum by leading 63-43 in the first half with a strong defense.

Milwaukee also started chasing its ace Antetokounmpo from the beginning of the third quarter. Antetokounmpo scored 18 points in the third quarter alone, narrowing the gap to 10 points at one point. However, Houston finished the third quarter 89-73 thanks to its early lead.

In the fourth quarter, Antetokounmpo continued his momentum and chased Houston. However, Houston also secured its victory by scoring a three-point shot by Smith Jr. with 1 minute and 30 seconds left before the game ended. Shortly before the game ended, Milwaukee's Pat Connaughton scored a three-point shot, but it was not enough to turn the game around.

In the end, Houston won 112-108 at home to Milwaukee.
