Technical support issues
Clarion Gaming is hosting a Japanese networking breakfast ahead of the 2018 Japan Gaming Congress (JgC), which was supported by numerous industry leaders, including Lawrence Ho, chairman and CEO of Melco Resorts & Entertainment.
Networking Breakfast followed by JgC (May 10-11, The Conrad, Tokyo) was created by Clarion to allow market stakeholders and participants to meet, network, and discuss the opportunities ahead.
Rory Credland, event director at Clarion Gaming, said, "The current state of gaming in Japan could potentially see the gaming bill passed in June, which could result in many licenses, creating one of the most important jurisdictions in the world's gaming industry.
"The JgC will provide a platform for delegates to meet with the prefectures and decision-makers behind the bill to gain practical insight into what the bill will look like, bearing in mind that the legislation has not been made public in any form or form. Prior to this, we are excited to hold a Japanese networking breakfast in ICE London and provide a platform for delegates to share their views and opinions and learn more about May's JgC."
The 2017 JgC was the largest type of event held in Japan and was attended by delegates from domestic and international markets. Clarion identified an increase in support for the 2018 event, with support provided by major sponsors Galaxy Entertainment, Melco Resorts Entertainment, MGM Resorts, SJM Holdings Macao, Transact, JCM Global, AGEM, and Clairvest.
Lawrence Ho, chairman and CEO of Melco Resorts & Entertainment, said of JgC's third edition, "As Japanese IR comes into investment reality, there was a more exciting time for the Japanese Games. We are thrilled to be back at this important forum to deepen our dialogue with local business partners and the industry as a whole, and to pioneer the future of Japanese entertainment with them."
Agents wishing to attend a Japanese networking breakfast should request RSVP on the website.
