"No. 38-39 Bang-67 Stealing" Acuña Jr

The birth of the first major league record is just around the corner. Ronald Acuña Jr. (26, Atlanta Braves) is ready to reach the top with his 38-39th home run.

Atlanta had a home game against the Philadelphia Phillies at Truist Park in Atlanta, Georgia on the 20th.

Acuña Jr., who started as Atlanta No. 1 and right fielder, hit Christopher Sanchez with a one-run over the left fence in the first inning when he faced 0-0.

Four games after hitting his 37th home run against Philadelphia on the 13th. Acuña Jr. recently missed games on the 17th and 18th due to a calf injury.

Acuña Jr. then hit a hit in front of right field in the fifth inning and stole 67 degrees in the season. Only three left in 70 steals.

But this was not the end. Acuña Jr. hit a one-run over the middle fence to Union Marte in the sixth inning with a 7-3 lead. His 39th home run of the season.

As a result, Acuña Jr. left only one home run and three stolen bases at the 40-70 club and one home run at the 40-40 club. 40–70 is the first ever, and 40–40 is the fifth ever.

As Acuña Jr. nears his true record, his chances of winning the Most Valuable Player (MVP) are also rising. Also, rival Mookie Betts is currently in a slump.

Atlanta won 9-3 thanks to Acuña Jr.'s two home runs and Spencer Strider's seven innings of three runs and 11 strikeouts. Escaping four consecutive losses.

Acuña Jr., who played an amazing role, recorded a batting average of 0.338 with 39 home runs, 100 RBIs, 138 runs and 205 hits, and an on-base percentage of 0.418 OPS 1.014 in 148 games of the season.
