Falling revenues, rising costs and a looming budget deficit could, finally, compel New York online sports betting, two lawmakers said during a gaming industry conference Monday. With a multibillion-dollar shortfall pending, the lawmakers said their fellow elected officials will be more supportive than ever for any new revenue source.

Online casino players will have to wait until next year for Michigan online gambling and casino games. The Gaming Control Board had hoped to launch online gaming before the end of the year but it appears that won’t happen for about six weeks. Internet casinos have to wait until commercial and tribal casinos receive licenses.
