Korean ski star Jeong Dong-hyun (High1 Resort) won the Alpine Men's Giant Slalom at the International Ski Federation (FIS) Cup.
Dong-Hyeon Jeong took the top spot in the FIS Cup Alpine Men's Giant Slalom held at the Wanlong Resort in Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province, China on the 28th (local time) with a total time of 1 minute 29.53 seconds in the first and second periods. There is a difference of 0.32 seconds from second place Hayata Wakatsuki (Japan, 1 minute 29.85 seconds). The FIS Cup is a competition next to the World Cup and Continental Cup. Dong-Hyun Jeong is a gold medalist at the 2017 Winter Asian Games and ranked 21st in the men's slalom at last year's Beijing Winter Olympics, marking the highest ranking by a Korean athlete in the alpine skiing Olympics.
