Gangneung City Hall's curling club 'Team Kim' was crowned the inaugural champion of the women's general division at the 1st Uiseong-gun Cup National Curling Competition.

Team Kim recently won the final of the National Curling Championship held at the Uiseong Curling Center, defeating this season's national team, Gyeonggi Provincial Office, 5-3 after overtime.

Team Kim of Gangneung City Hall's curling club lost to Gyeonggi Provincial Office in the final match of the national team selection event held last June and lost their spot on the national team. Meanwhile, in order to regain the national team for the 2024-2025 season, Team Kim began intensive training in Canada, then departed for Japan on the 29th to participate in the 2023 Karuizawa International Championship.
