Negotiations possible with 30 MLB teams for one month starting tomorrow
On the 28th, KBO (Governor Heo Heo-yeon) requested the MLB Secretariat to post Go Woo-seok to 30 Major League Baseball (MLB) clubs at the request of the LG Twins.
Accordingly, the 30 MLB clubs can negotiate a contract with Go Woo-seok from 8 a.m. (US Eastern time) on the day after the MLB Secretariat notifies the posting until 5 p.m. on the 30th day. If a contract is signed, Korea-Korea The transfer fee according to the non-player contract agreement must be paid to LG.
If a contract is not reached by the negotiation expiration date, the posting will end, and Go Woo-seok will not be able to be posted until November 1 of the following year.
On the 22nd, LG conditionally allowed Go Woo-seok to advance overseas.
An LG official said, “We decided to allow Go Woo-seok’s posting. “We decided to make a final decision after the posting bid amount was announced later,” he explained.
The posting system is a system that allows players who have completed seven seasons in the KBO League to challenge overseas. Instead, permission from the affiliated club is required. Unlike FA, the team that takes the player must pay a transfer fee to the affiliated club. When returning to the country, players must return to their original club.
