‘K-Mbappe’ is alive → Jeong Sang-bin scores a fantastic free kic

I'm not dead yet!'

Seon-Hong Hwang's 'K-Mbappe' Jeong Sang-bin (21, Minnesota United) scored multiple goals against the French under-21 national team led by coach Thierry Henry. He scored two goals with amazing free kicks and positioning, leading Hwang Seon-hong to a 3-0 victory.

Jeong Sang-bin was substituted in the friendly match against France held at the Stade Ocean in Le Havre, France on the 20th (Korean time). He came on the field at the start of the second half and led Korea's attack.

In the 25th minute of the second half, he scored a fantastic free kick goal. He succeeded in scoring with a right-footed kick from about 25 meters away from the goal. He gave Korea the lead by scoring a surprising free-kick goal in front of coach Henry, who was called the 'right-foot master of Gamcha' during his career.

An additional goal was scored in the 34th minute of the second half. He finished the game after finding a good space by quickly penetrating in front of the goal. He converted Cho Hyun-taek's ground ball cross from the left with a right-footed shot that split the French net. After breaking in front of the French defense with instantaneous speed, he lightly pushed the ball into the goal in no man's land.

Jeong Sang-bin is a promising star who came into the limelight as a member of ‘Maetan Boys’. He graduated from Maetan High School and signed a semi-professional contract with Suwon Samsung of the K League in 2020. He attracted attention by playing in Suwon from 2020 to 2021. He was nicknamed ‘K-um Bape’ for his fast speed, quick shooting, and free kick ability.

In June 2021, he was also called up to the national team for the Asian second qualifying round of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. He came on as a substitute in the second half of the match against Sri Lanka and scored his debut goal. In 2022, he moved to English Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers. He was immediately loaned to Wolverhampton's satellite club, Swiss Grasshopper, but failed to create an offensive point in 6 appearances, and was transferred to Minnesota United in the United States this year.

Hwang Seon-Hong-Ho reported a huge victory by exploding a net in extra time of the second half. In a mixed situation, Hong Yun-sang finished the match, completely breaking France's will to chase. They scored three goals just after the middle of the second half, signaling victory.
