The Korean U-22 soccer team produced an upset by defeating the French U-21 national team led by legendary coach Henry 3-0. France is a strong team that is considered a strong candidate to win next year's Paris Olympics.

The Korea Football Association reported that the Korean U-22 team, led by coach Hwang Seon-hong, won 3-0 in a friendly match against the French U-21 team held at the Stade Ocean in Le Havre, France, on the 21st (Korean time).

Korea conducted an away training in France to prepare for the 2024 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U-23 Asian Cup, the final Asian regional qualifying tournament for the 2024 Paris Olympics men's soccer, to be held in Qatar next April.
