Ulsan City announced on the 2nd that it will hold the '2023 Fall Korea Women's Football Federation Game' at five soccer fields, including Mipo Stadium, from the 3rd to the 13th.

This tournament is a representative women's soccer tournament hosted by the Korea Women's Football Federation. A total of 1,500 players from 49 teams, including 16 elementary school teams, 14 middle school teams, 11 high school teams, and 8 college teams, which is 10 more teams than last year, will visit Ulsan.

In order to revitalize the local economy, the stadium will be distributed to Nam-gu, Dong-gu, and Buk-gu, and will be held 91 times at the Munsu Soccer Stadium auxiliary stadium, Mipo Stadium, Seobu Stadium, Ulsan Science Daejeon Stadium, and Nongso Sports Complex. The opening ceremony and middle school opening game will be held on the 3rd at Mipo Stadium.

The competition will be played in a full league format for each division, with the group stage being played in a full league format and the finals being held in a tournament format. The teams that place first and second in each group in the group stage advance to the final tournament.

Ulsan City promotes ‘Ulsan, the City of Dreams and Ulsan, the Corporate City’ by linking this competition with industrial tourism.

Ulsan Mayor Kim Doo-gyeom said, “In line with the growing global women’s soccer market, hosting the national women’s soccer tournament will serve as an opportunity to further enhance Ulsan’s reputation as a soccer city.”
