Venice Las Vegas to Revamp Convention Center

Venetian Las Vegas is excited to announce a $188 million renovation plan for its convention center, one of the world's largest conference facilities, scheduled to be completed in phases from 2024 to 2026.

The incredible change in space was reimagined by the respected Las Vegas design firm Ugmaster Studios and is an integral part of the resort's $1 billion capital investment project. Conferences and events have been the foundation of the resort business since it was founded nearly 25 years ago. Inspired by the needs of the hotel's longtime group guests, key design elements will include a luxurious lounge area away from traditional convention spaces and innovative new technologies that will lead the industry for years to come.

"It's not an easy task to start refreshing our convention centers, which host back-to-back events throughout the year, but our commitment is to bring the best-in-class experience to our guests," said Patrick Nichols, president and CEO of The Venetian Resort Las Vegas. "The planned finishes and amenities are carefully curated based on customer feedback and will usher in a new era for Venetian Meetings and maintain our position at the forefront of the industry."

An additional high lounge-style space will be provided for all executives. Designed with rich wood, marble, velvet, and mirrors, the new 10,000 sq ft speaker-style lounge, which symbolizes a romantic, layered and modern feel for 1930 s Venetian design, offers an opportunity to host an invitation-only event.

Since its inception, Venetian Resort Las Vegas has led the landscape of gatherings and conventions and has remained at the forefront of the industry. So we're excited to take our accommodation to the next level to better serve our guests," said Tony Yusfi, Chief Sales Officer of Venetian Resort Las Vegas.

The convention center will seamlessly integrate traditional architecture and modern design elements, harmoniously combining the resort's rich heritage with modern sophistication. The interior will be decorated with calming colour palettes of cream, white and platinum, accentuated with caramel interiors and colorful blue demark carpets. The classic silhouette Murano glass chandelier and streamlined brascones everywhere form an interaction of "traditional modernity," while stylish furniture, rich embroidery and antiques bring the streets to life with custom layers, details and attention.
