Technical support issues
Manager Kim Tae-hyung signed a three-year contract with Lotte in the professional baseball league and held an inauguration ceremony as the head coach on the 24th.
After receiving a managerial offer from Lotte, manager Kim Tae-hyung actively moved to recruit a coach. Head coach Kim Tae-hyung also made an offer to recruit coach Kim Min-jae, and coach Kim Min-jae also accepted it after much consideration.
Since SSG was offered while preparing for the semi-playoff (semi-PO), coach Kim Min-jae carefully conveyed his intention to the SSG club.
SSG left the fall stage after losing 6-7 in Game 3 of the semi-playoff against the NC Dinos at Changwon NC Park on the 25th.
Coach Kim Min-jae plans to join the Lotte squad after organizing his personal safety. Coach Kim Min-jae was born in Busan, Lotte's hometown, and his professional career began in Lotte.
Kim, who joined Lotte in 1991, played for 11 years until the 2011 season. Coach Kim Min-jae, who continued his career with the SK Wyverns (now SSG) and Hanwha Eagles, made a new start as a leader at Hanwha in 2010 and played as a defensive coach at Lotte between 2017 and 2018. Since then, coach Kim Min-jae, who guarded the Doosan Bears and SSG dugout, continues his leadership career with his hometown team Lotte.
Coach Kim Min-jae, who worked with coach Kim Tae-hyung as an operational coach at Doosan in 2019 and 2020, will meet with coach Kim Tae-hyung again for the first time in about three years. At Lotte, coach Kim Min-jae is likely to take the senior position.
