Casino operator Sands China Limited announced that The French-themed The Parisian Macao property will open from Sept. 13 with 3,000 rooms and suites, along with a half-scale replica of the Eiffel Tower.

Sands Macao Limited, a subsidiary of Las Vegas Sands Corporation, said the new Cotai Strip property will be "another significant milestone" in its efforts to support Macau's development into a world center of tourism and leisure, with a total investment in the former Portuguese region of more than $13 billion.

"Our goal of creating a large leisure and business destination in Macau, which started almost a decade ago with the opening of Venetian Macau, will be fully realized when Paris Macau opens in a few weeks," said Sheldon Adelson, president and CEO of Las Vegas Sands Company. "It is unlikely that another tourism development with the size and scope of the Kotai strip will ever be achieved again. I am grateful for the hard work and determination of the countless people involved in this remarkable development, and for the unwavering support of the people of Macau and the government. Together, we made a true history."

Sands China Limited says The Parisian Macao will offer additional convention and conference space, as well as a full deck featuring international restaurants, spas and health clubs, 1,200-seat theaters, kids' clubs and themed water parks. The company declared that the development will be completed with the Shopes At Parisian retail mall, which is designed to evoke the latest fashion and couture and a mix of street artists and entertainers.
