Lee Ye-won (20, KB Financial Group), who has three wins this season on the Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour, ranked 31st, her highest world ranking.
In the world ranking of women's golf announced on the 10th, Lee Ye-won rose six notches from last week's 37th to 31st. His previous highest ranking was 34th in June.
Lee Ye-won won the Hite Jinro Championship (total prize money of 1.2 billion won), the last major tournament of the season, which ended on the 8th, and reached the 3rd victory of the season. Starting at 37th place in the world earlier this year, he ranked second after Park Min-ji (28th) among KLPGA Tour active players.
Lilia Boo (USA), Inluening (China), Ko Jin-young (28), Nelly Korda (USA) and Celine Boutier (France) kept the world's first to fifth places. Kim Hyo-joo (28), who achieved her sixth career win and 20th career win in the LPGA Tour Ascendant LPGA, rose from seventh to sixth. Lee Min-ji (Australia) fell one spot to seventh place.
