"Captain" Son Heung-min (31, Tottenham) was named as the player of September.

The English Premier League (EPL) secretariat announced on the 5th that seven players, including Son Heung-min, were nominated for the Player of the Month Award. The winner will be decided by a vote of fans and a panel of experts.
