The Next Opponent is Pakistan!

South Korea's men's volleyball barely advanced to the round of 12 with its first win at the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games.

South Korea's world No. 27 beat Cambodia 3-0 25-23 25-13 25-15 in the second Group C qualifying match held at Linping Sports Center in Hangzhou, China, on the 21st.

The national team advanced to the round of 12 as second in the group with one win and one loss in the group stage.

In the first match the previous day, the national team suffered a shock defeat of set score 2-3 27-25 27-29 22-25 25-2015-17 to world No. 73 India.

South Korea's main setter Han led the game, while middle blockers Kim Min-jae and Kim Kyu-min kept the center. Heo Soo-bong came out as an apogit spiker, and outside heater Na Kyung-bok and Jung Ji-seok, who was absent the previous day due to back pain, were listed in the starting lineup. The Libero was played by Park Kyung-min.

Perhaps due to the shock wave in the match against India, South Korea struggled in the early stages of the match against Cambodia at the amateur level. The game was not easy enough to compete until the end of the game.

Still, after catching the first set, he played the game relatively easily. In the second and third sets, he won the shutout after leading the game without a major crisis.

Jung Ji-seok scored 11 points, the most by both teams, while Kim Min-jae, Lim Dong-hyuk, and Kim Kyu-min also shared the points.

Lim Do-heon, who has overcome the crisis, will play in the round of 12 on the 22nd. The opponent is 51st in Pakistan's world ranking, which is ranked first in Group D.
