The Korea Professional Football Federation said on the 13th that Lee Seung-woo won the EA SPORTS K League Player of the Month award in August sponsored by K League official video game partner Electronic Arts. It is the second award in his career since June last year.

Lee Seung-woo won the award with 37.09 points, beating second-place Thiago (29.85 points, Daejeon).

Lee Seung-woo played in all four matches and scored three goals. In particular, on August 12, Suwon Samsung and Derby scored the winning goal after peeling off the defense with a sleek move to deceive their opponents in the extra time of the first half.

He swept not only the MOM but also the 25th round best 11 and round MVP.

The Player of the Month award selects candidates through a vote (60%) by the Federation's TSG Technical Committee among the players selected for MOM, Best 11, and MVP of the month's K League 1 games, and additional fan votes (25%) and FIFA Online 4 user votes (15%).

Lee Seung-woo will be given a trophy and prize money.
