Technical support issues
Suwon FC's Lee Seung-woo won the "EA SPORTS K League Player of the Month" in August sponsored by K League official video game partner Electronic Arts. It is the second award in his career since June last year.
The Player of the Month award selects candidates through a vote (60%) by the Federation's TSG Technical Committee among the players selected for MOM (Game Training Player), Best Eleven, and MVP of the K League 1 games held for a month. For candidates selected by the TSG Technical Committee, fan voting (25%) and EASPORTS™ FIFA Online 4 (hereinafter referred to as 'FIFA Online 4') will be additionally held on the K League's official website (15%) and the player with the highest conversion score will receive the 'Player of the Month Award'.
In August, the Player of the Month award was evaluated for a total of four games from the 25th to 28th rounds of the K League 1. Um Ji-sung (Gwangju), Lee Seung-woo (Suwon FC), Jerso (Incheon), and Thiago (Daejeon) were nominated. As a result of the vote, "Suwon FC's ace" Lee Seung-woo won the award with a combined score of 37.09 points, beating second-place Thiago (29.85).
Lee Seung-woo played in all four matches to be evaluated and scored a total of three goals. In particular, Lee Seung-woo, who started the Suwon Derby between Suwon FC and Suwon Samsung in the 25th round of the K League 1 on August 12, fired after peeling off the defense with a sleek move to deceive his opponent in the extra time of the first half, which led to the winning goal. Lee Seung-woo swept the best-eleven and round MVPs in the 25th round as well as the M.O.M. in the game.
Lee Seung-woo, who became the main character of the K League in August, will be given a trophy and prize money produced by EA SPORTS.
