The Japanese professional baseball dome stadium game was canceled due to the typhoon.

The Softbank Hawks of the Japanese professional baseball league canceled their scheduled match against Rakuten at the Paypay Dome in Fukuoka, Japan, on the 9th. Japanese media reported that the cancellation of the game was the first in 16 years since the game against Orix on August 2, 2007 (then called Yahoo Dome) due to a typhoon at Paypay Dome, Softbank's home stadium.

Meanwhile, Softbank conducted team training at Paypay Dome on the same day.
