Paragliding

Paragliding
Paragliding is an aviation sport that includes the principles of parachute descent and hang gliding. It began in 1984 when France's JM Boivin took off from the mountain as a parachute for a high-altitude descent after climbing the mountain. Climb the mountain in a specially designed parachute weighing about 4 kg, which is close to a straight line.

History
In 1964, American Domina Zalbert patented parafoil, a multicellular, double - surface, ram - air type parachute. The design used the movement of air through cells to inflate the parachute, giving it a wing shape that allows it to glide. Paragliding sports finally started in 1978.

Invented
The sport can be traced to the activities of Pierre Lemoyne, a French parachute inventor who launched his advanced round parachute canopy in the 1950s

David Barish 1921-2009: Father of forgotten paragliding | World Aviation Sports Federation.

Benefits
Among the health benefits of paragliding, you will help form a strong core that helps with balance, posture, and stability. This aerial sport is involved in your deep core muscles that strengthen your body to reduce the risk of injury during exercise and activity.

Special for paragliding
Paragliding is a type of extreme sport discovered in the early 1980 s by people interested in aviation sports, where you can run on a slope with a free parachute. Paragliding is generally more accessible than other extreme sports because it does not require any special take-off or landing tracks.

How it works
Like hang gliders, paragliders work with airflow to create lifts. Air flows from both the top and bottom of the glider and meets at the edge. Aerodynamics predicts that the pressure at the bottom of the glider is higher than the pressure above the glider. This creates the lift upward.

Evaluation Method
Each maneuver is rated A, B, C, or D depending on the response method. After the flight test, the wings are given an overall classification. Grade A means a flying and safe glider suitable for beginners. The D glider means that the wings respond more aggressively.

Paragliding technology
In a paragliding launch, the landing is done by wind. Winds are used as airflows by running, pulling, or with the help of existing winds. Pilots move from places where they can be lifted. The following three execution techniques include: forward firing, reverse firing, and tow firing.

Trivia
Betemp took off first, and both slipped into the valley below. Their flight gained attention from the media by attracting others to sports, and Bétemps became known to many as the inventor of paragliding.
