Recreational Horses

Recreational Horses
A leisure horse is a horse used for horseback riding leisure, and is mainly hacked and trekked by individual riders. These leisure activities can be done by riding, driving, or riding a horse.

They are also used in competing sports, including dressage, endurance riding, events, linings, show jumps, tent pegs, chopping boards, polo, horse racing, driving and rodeo (see additional equestrian sports listed later in this article for more examples).

History
Evidence of string rein use suggests that horses may have been ridden as early as 5,500 years ago.

What is the level of work on a horse?
Light: Recreational Riding, Start Training, Show Horse (sometimes) Medium: School Horse, Recreational Riding, Break/Training, Show Horse (often), Polo, Ranch. Heavy: Ranch Work, Polo, Show Horse (very often), Medium-level Event, Race Training. Very Heavy: Racing, a three - day event.

Players also receive performance-related pay in the same form as the percentage of the prize money they earn. This varies from 8.5% to 9% of the prize money for jumping depending on the race. That's 6.9 per cent on the flat. In both codes, they take home 3.5% of the prize money.

How to talk to a beginner?
For beginners, I recommend sticking to an honest bet. They are simple and inexpensive. You choose one horse for the first, second, and third place. The minimum bet for consecutive bets on most tracks is $2.

Trivia
Draft horse breeds, including Clydesdales, Shires, and Perkeron, successfully bred with Thoroughbred, Quarter Horse, and Paint Horse, producing milder horses of shorter stature. These crossbreeds can be kept at a height that is easier for beginners to mount, ride, and access.
