KBL Reveals First List of Players Participating in 2024 Draft

The KBL (Korea Professional Basketball Federation) announced the first list of participants after confirming the reasons for disqualification for players from the Korea Basketball Association among applicants for the "2024 KBL Rookie Draft" and reviewing documents for the general public.

A total of 37 players, including 28 players scheduled to graduate, including Kim Tae-hoon of Korea University and Lee Dae-kyun of Dongguk University, and nine players who applied early, including Lee Min-seo and Kim Bo-bae of Yonsei University, applied for the draft. In particular, a total of three players scheduled to graduate from high school will participate in the draft, including Lee Keun-joon of Kyungbok High School, Park Jung-woong of Hongdae High School and Lee Chan-young of Songdo High School.

As a result of the document screening for the general public, 14 out of a total of 23 general applicants will pass and take the practical test. The practical test for general participants will be held at the gym of Yangjeong High School at 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 16.

The final list of participating players, including those who passed the practical test, will be made public on Oct. 17. They will participate in the "2024 KBL Rookie Draft" to be held at Jamsil Student Gymnasium in Seoul on Nov. 15.
