MGM Resort's Empire City Casino is offering players a chance to win life-changing prizes. The property is currently offering the second-highest jackpot in history, with shots being offered to guests for a seven-figure sum.
According to the announcement, the jackpot for IGT Wheel of Fortune Triple Stars currently sits at $1.6 million. The jackpot is unique to the property, but it's not the only one Empire City currently offers. In addition to the $1.6 million chance, players can also win one of six progressive jackpots on the casino floor. These include the $142,600 Money Link - Great Immortals Jackpot, the $163,100 Hotshot Inferno Jackpot, the $164,400 Golden Fire Link Jackpot, the $168,600 Quick Hit Platinum Jackpot, and the $345,200 Wheel of Fortune Triple Star Jackpot. However, the largest of the six-figure jackpots at the Empire City Casino is the $412,100 Hotshot Twin Fire Jackpot. Ed Domingo, president and COO of MGM Resorts' Empire City Casino, described the energy at the venue as "electric" and said another million-dollar (W100 billion) moment was waiting to happen. He also mentioned that the company has added more than 1,000 new, up-to-date games to its gaming layer. Another player could soon join Empire City's Millionaires Club Speaking of jackpots, MGM Resorts' Empire City Casino has already handed out five six-figure jackpots this year. These included a $144,600 jackpot on the Wright & Wonder Money link, a $124,600 jackpot on the Wright & Winder Ultimate Fire link, a $122,800 jackpot on the Wright & Winder Monopoly Money, a $116,200 jackpot on the IGT Samurai 888 Takeo Progressive, and a $100,000 jackpot on the Wright & Wonder Double Jackpot Wild. Meanwhile, the current winner of the IGT Wheel of Fortune Triple Stars jackpot will join the Empire City Millionaires Club. The club's most recent member is Jonkers' Leo, who took $1.9 million in December 2022. FYI, the best jackpot from Empire City came to nearly $2.92 million and was won by Teresa of Ossining, the only casino millionaire club member to previously win a $1.47 million prize. |
