Unibet, one of the world's largest online casino and sports gambling brands, today announced the opening of its retail sportsbook in partnership with Mohegan Sun Pocono to mark its official launch into Pennsylvania, its second U.S. market presence in just a month. The Mohegan Sun Pocono's full destination offering, combined with Unibet's unrivalled digital customer experience and data analytics capabilities, will create unique and powerful offerings in sports betting in the state. Earlier this month, Unibet celebrated the launch of the New Jersey Sportsbook and its multi-year partnership with the New Jersey Devils.

The new 1,130-square-foot Unibet Sportsbook in the Mohegan Sun Pocono will run from 11 a.m. to midnight every day to allow fans to bet on their favorite teams and sporting events. Located opposite Molly O'Shea's Irish Pub and Eatery (which will serve food at the lounge) and near the main gate of the Mohegan Sun Pocono, the Unibet Sportsbook features a 28-foot-wide high-definition video wall with three additional displays near the sportsbook table for additional viewing, which can be transformed into two giant television screens or modified to accommodate up to 16 sporting events at a time. The betting lounge also has six latest betting terminals, two teller booths, a comfortable seat for up to 40 guests, and a full service bar. The new Unibet Sportsbook is creating 12-14 new jobs at the Mohegan Sun Pocono, including tellers, food and beverage servers, and floor managers.

Bet offerings to get started include the NFL, NCAA, NHL, NBA, PGA, professional tennis, boxing, UFC, rugby, NASCAR, MLS, Premier League Soccer, La Liga, and the Bundesliga. Types of bets include straight bets, parlay, round robin, fixed odds, money lines, prop bets, and in-play bets. Betting can be placed at a designated window or sports betting terminal, allowing players to search by sport and customize their desired bets. The partnership will be celebrated with a special ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the launch of the Unibet Sportsbook at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5, in the lounge. LaVar Arrington, a special guest and former Penn State Nittany Lion Great, will be present, along with a guest list of senior leaders, local dignitaries, project partners, and officials from parent company Mohegan Sun Pocono.
