Officials are now facing the biggest challenge to come up with it. To come up with revenue measures to fund the government, lawmakers agreed to include a controversial game bill, as $200 million in tax revenue is believed to help the state's worn-out treasury.

The main setback before the bill was that the House and Senate could not agree on a particular topic. The issue between the two councils was the installation of video game terminals (VGTs) in public places. VGT's opponents supported their position with the fact that these could "steal" customers in retail stores, which could reduce profits, and that the government could retrieve from them.


Discussions slowed as the two opposition parties each proposed a game bill, but with the start of the fiscal year , lawmakers had to find a source of income to fill the budget gap, so the two offices tried to put it on the table once again and reach an agreement on what the game bill looked like.


Experts explained that it is possible for the gambling industry to attract $200 million in total gaming revenue by the end of the year. In addition, lawmakers will allow the opening of a new satellite casino.
