Olympic Ticket War 'Variable' Japan Selects 5 Players, Hwang Seon-hong-ho Out.
Why was the "Hwangseon-Hong-ho" rejected and rival Japan normalized over the borrowing of the European wave, which is the core of power. Hwang Seon-hong's Olympic soccer team, which is seeking to advance to the men's soccer finals for 10 consecutive Olympics for the first time in the world, has faced a snag even before the start. Many European leagues, which considered them as the core of their power, failed to join their clubs due to their refusal to borrow money. The Olympic team will participate in the U-23 Asian Cup, which will kick off in Qatar on Saturday. Tickets for the men's soccer finals at the 2024 Paris Olympics are up for grabs. The top three teams will be awarded. Korea is tied to Group B with Japan, the candidate for the title, and China of the United Arab Emirates, and should have a tough time starting from the group stage. Hwang included four players from European leagues: Yang Hyun-joon Celtic, Bae Joon-ho Stock City, Kim Ji-soo Brentford, and Kim Min-woo Dusseldorf in the final 23 players for the Asian Cup. However, Yang Hyun-joon and Kim Ji-soo replaced Hong Si-hoo Incheon and Kim Dong-jin Pohang in opposition to being drafted by their teams. Bae Joon-ho is also known not to be able to recruit players from European leagues. In contrast, all five players from European leagues, which are on the final list, will head to Qatar. Since this competition is not hosted by FIFA, there is no obligation for clubs to recruit players for the upcoming competition. Nevertheless, the reason why Korea and Japan have mixed feelings over recruiting players for the European leagues is because the circumstances in which they are facing are starkly different. Japan has included goalkeeper Takashi Uchino Düsseldorf, Rihito Yamamoto, and Gane Sato Berder Bremen in the list, as well as goalie Leo Bryan Benfica. All of Kokubo, Uchino, and Sato are non-mainstream players in their teams. The main players for Benfica are Anatory Troubin, who was born in 2001 from Ukraine. Kokubo has no record of playing in this season. He played in 16 games only in the second division. Sato also has never played in a regular league this season. Uchino only played 15 games in the Bundesliga's second division, and only started three times. Only Yamamoto 30 matches and Fujita 22 matches play as the starting players. Still, the recruitment comes due to the peculiarity of his team, Sintraudan. Sintraudan has a Japanese owner. Having been sponsored by Japanese companies for a long time, it is considered a club where many Japanese promising players gain experience or veterans try their best. Six Japanese players are also involved in this season. In comparison, Yang Hyun-joon is a winger and joker trusted by Celtic. His team is in the midst of a race with Rangers to win the Scottish Premiership. Bae has played 33 matches in the regular season alone, making it difficult for the club to take the risk of his loan for a long time as Stoke City is on the verge of being demoted to the third division. Kim Ji-soo has not been able to join the first team at Brentford, but his team's center-back resources have recently been injured. The team should prepare for any contingency with Kim's option. Kim Min-woo, the "only European player," is currently playing at the Dusseldorf U-23. Rather, he has decided to join the national team as he can increase his experience by participating in the tournament. |
