Total revenue from public market table games and slots rose 3.9% year-over-year to about $3.29 billion in the three months to the end of September, the first overall increase since the second quarter, as the Macau Business Daily newspaper reported, citing official figures from the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau.

However, the VIP Baccarat game's total third-quarter sales were not entirely positive, as it kept the Macau casino's main revenue source position at 52% but edged down to $3.57 billion.

Figures from the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau also indicate that the mass market baccarat game generated $2.44 billion in revenue during the third quarter of this year, down about 3.6% from the $2.34 billion recorded in the same three months.

Macau Business Daily reported that Baccarat accounted for 87.2% of third-quarter revenue of $6.88 billion derived from Lucky Game, while Slot reported overall revenue for the three-month period fell 3.4% year-over-year to $350.37 million, despite an 11% annual increase in machine numbers to 15,769 units.

Greyhound Race Betting's third-quarter earnings continued to decline, starting at $1.62 million most recently, and the segment currently accounts for just 0.02% of its total revenue. In July, track operator Macau (Yat UN) Canidrome Company ordered the Macau Canidrome Club to be relocated or closed within two years after annual revenue fell 82% to about $600,648.

Finally, a report from the Bureau of Game Inspection and Coordination explained that overall third-quarter revenue from activities such as sports betting, lottery, horse racing and greyhound racing was $26.9 million, representing 0.4% of total revenue over the three months.
