Jamal Musiala seems to have decided to break up with Bayern Munich.
Musiala rejected Bayern Munich's recent offer to renew his contract. It triggered the world's largest transfer competition with Manchester City. Musiala, born in 2003, is Bayern Munich's new engine. He made his senior debut at Bayern Munich in 2020. He has been at the core of the team since the 2020-2021 season. He has played 163 games in the past five seasons. He scored 12 goals and eight assists in 38 games during the 2023-2024 season. He has scored two goals in four games this season as well. The Daily Star said, Mujiala is asking for £300,000 a week. I believe this matches his current performance. Manchester City have been watching Mujiala for the past year. Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, and Real Madrid are also keeping an eye on Mujiala. Bayern Munich are trying to stay Mujiala. However, it is a financial issue after all. Manchester City considers Real Madrid as their biggest rival. Mujiala is expected to be a record signing for England. According to the media, Mujiala's ransom is reported to be around £120 million. Musiala's future is uncertain. Earlier, the German edition of Sky Sports conveyed Bayern Munich Chairman Herbert Heiner's opinion. We are making every effort to be with Musiala for the long term. I think he will become another Thomas Muller and play for Bayern Munich for the next 20 years. Daily Star pointed out that Bayern Munich is in a transitional period under new coach Vincent Kompany. Musiala has scored 45 goals and 26 assists in 167 matches as a member of Bayern Munich's first team. |
