SSG Landers of professional baseball defeated Doosan Bears and went on a three-game winning streak.

SSG defeated Doosan 3-0 in the 2024 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League home game held at Incheon SSG Landers Field on the 28th, led by the great pitching of starting pitcher Song Young-jin. In the bottom

of the 4th inning, with the score tied at 0-0, Choi Jeong and Oh Tae-gon each drew walks from opposing starting pitcher Choi Jun-ho, creating a chance with runners on 1st and 2nd base and 1 out, and Park Sung-han hit a left-field RBI single to take the lead 1-0.

The game then became a pitchers' duel, and SSG widened the gap by scoring two more runs in the bottom of the 7th.

Lee Ji-young hit a right-center hit against the new pitcher Kim Myeong-shin, and Ha Jae-hoon hit a two-run homer over the left-field wall to make it 3-0.

SSG faced a crisis with two outs and bases loaded in the top of the 8th inning, but Noh Kyung-eun struck out Jeon Min-jae swinging and wiped away the sweat.

In the 9th inning, closing pitcher Moon Seung-won saved the game by shutting out a no-out, runner-on-first-base crisis.

Song Young-jin pitched 5⅔ innings, allowing five hits, two walks, four strikeouts, and no runs to become the winning pitcher.
